The new Conor McGregor Beats By Dre ad features a heap of Dublin kids and is surprisingly lovely
YouTube YouTube
WITH ONLY THREE days to go until Conor McGregor’s fight with Floyd Mayweather, Beats by Dre have released an ad starring the fighter that’s bound to make any Dubliner weep with pride.
The ad, which was shot in St. Teresa’s Gardens, Dublin 8, follows a young Dublin lad named Liam preparing for a fight and is spliced with footage of Conor McGregor training in the ring. There’s banter, tricolous, young fellas walking around like they’re kings – everything you could want from an ad in other words.
Most importantly, it features a frankly delightful children’s choir version of The Notorious B.I.G’s Juicy.
McGregor shared the ad earlier and wrote, “Dublin, Ireland STAND UP! This one is for you!”
And it’s already striking a chord with Irish fans.
